Introduction
B6AC Universal Battery Charger can charge 2 to 6 Cell Lithium Polymer battery packs, 1 to 15 NiMH / NiCd battery packs, and 2V to 12V Lead Acid Battery. The charging current is user programmable between 0.1 to 6Amps. It also features a balance charger for Lithium Polymer Battery chemistry where it balances battery with drain current of up to 300mA per cell. It has very simple interactive user interface based on 2x16 alphanumeric LCD along with 4 menu switches. It also includes charging cables for 5 different types of battery sockets. This charger works on mains supply as well as 11 to 18V DC.

Important
- Charger doesn’t contain XT60 male connector. If your battery has XT60 male connector then contact NEX Robotics for XT60 to “T” type converter.
- During discharge, bottom right side of the battery charger gets very hot. We strongly recommend keeping battery charger in standing position during discharging and if possible blow air using small fan to the back side of the charger. To extend the life of the battery charger we recommend restricting discharge current below 0.5Amps in all conditions. If possible avoid discharging of the batteries using this charger.
- Read user manual completely before using B6AC Universal Battery Charger
- If Li-Po batteries are deep discharged i.e. if voltage of the individual cell falls below 3.3V then battery charger will try to revive the individual cell. If it can not revive it then it will refuse to charge the deep discharged battery.
- In order to prevent battery from deep discharging, use Battery Protection circuits from NEX Robotics
- Damaged battery may catch fire while charging. Always charge battery in open space on non-flammable surface such as concrete. We strongly recommend putting battery inside Li-Po Guard Fire Proof Bag from NEX Robotics while charging the battery.
- We strongly recommend charging Lithium Polymer Battery in balance mode only with maximum charging current between 0.5A to 2A. This insures that charger has sufficient capacity to keep control on balancing process.
- To avoid risk of short circuit always insert charging cable’s banana connectors inside the charger first and then connect. Do not insert charging cable in reverse polarity. It will immediately damage battery and charger.
