Introduction:

LY330AH is a yaw rate gyroscope module which gives maximum sensing range of ±300 degrees per second. It gives yaw rate output. Board has all the necessary components required for the chip. Board made up of high quality silver plated double sided PCB for giving extra strength to the connectors. Possible applications of this board includes inertial navigation, GPS navigation, motion tracking, industrial and robotics, pointing devices, remote and game controllers, motion control with user interface etc.

  • Analog Absolute angular-rate output at ±300 °/ sec
  • Internally buffered to ensure low output impedance on output signals.
  • Embedded Self-Test, which allows testing electrical and mechanical parts of the sensor
  • High stability over temperature
  • High shock and vibration survivability
  • High quality silver plated double sided PCB for giving extra strength to the connectors

  • Supply voltage (Vdd): 2.7V to 3.6V, 4.2 mA
  • Sensitivity on the yaw-rate output pin: 3.752 mV/ °/ sec
  • Steady state position output: OUTZ : 1.5V (±10%)
  • Bandwidth: 140Hz.
  • Self-Test checking for checking chip functionality
  • Supply current in sleep mode: 2.2 mA
  • Supply current in Power-down mode: 5 uA

Note *: If the 3V3 LDO regulator is absent on the module, No need to short the pad P1 on the module and apply 3.3V to pin "3V3 Out / In" of the module. Supply connection on pin "5V IN " must be absent.

If the 3V3 LDO regulator is present, We need to short the pad P1 on the module and apply 5V DC supply to "5V IN" pin and supply connection on pin "3V3 Out / In" must be absent.

LY330AH is a yaw rate gyroscope module is factory shipped with the 3V3 LDO regulator mounted.

Do not keep PD, ST pins floating. Give them Logic 1 or Logic 0 as per the requirement.
