Introduction

A3982 is a complete stepper motor driver designed to operate bipolar stepper motors in full- and half-step modes, with an output drive capacity of up to 35 V and ±2 A. It is very convenient to use. All it needs is one pulse on the STEP input drives the motor one step. There are no phase sequence tables, high frequency control lines, or complex interfaces to program. This motor driver is ideal for your Micromouse. It also has the chopping control to regulate current flowing through the motor. It is like L297 and L298 along with eight flyback diodes and heatsink combined in a small package.
