NRS-150R Continuous Rotation RC Servo Motor

Introduction

NRS-150R is a continuous rotation servo motor with 3Kg-cm torque and 60RPM. It is able to rotate 360 degrees continuously. Direction of rotation is decided by the PWM signal given to it. You can also control speed of rotation in very narrow band of PWM signal. It is most suitable for small mobile robots.

Difference between standard servo motor and continuous rotation servo motor is the way in which position feedback potentiometer is used. While in case of standard servo motor, potentiometer is directly connected to the output shaft to get position feedback. In case of continuous rotation servo motor this feed back potentiometer is not coupled with the rotating output shaft. Hence when standard RC PWM signal is applied motor will rotate clockwise or counter clockwise depending on the PWM value of the signal. You can also control velocity of the motor provided that PWM signal has sufficient resolution.
