Introduction

This Worm gear is used along with the Spur Gear for transferring motion from one wheel to another or in building mechanical links. This Worm Gear along with the Spur Gear can be used in perpendicular power transfer required in robotics grippers or in small robotic arms. Spur Gear and Worm gear combination can also be used for increasing toque and reducing RPM.
